8946 - CRM Systems Specialist

IUPUI is experiencing rapid growth in applications from all areas of the United States, and campus administration has set forth clear goals for raising the academic profile of the incoming class and diversifying in a number of ways. A key part of successfully recruiting and achieving these goals is through the use of communications and awarding scholarships. Key systems have been developed to automate both communications and the scholarship awards to facilitate recruitment, outreach, admissions, and achieving enrollment objectives for the campus.

This position will be responsible for management of CRM operations and training, including support of the assistant director for marketing and communications. It is also responsible for CRM reporting management and training. In addition it is responsible for CRM reporting management and training. Also responsible for Scholarship management and operations, including COMPASS programing, liaison with the Office of Student Scholarships, and discussing scholarship awarding with colleagues and students/families. Takes action with service units on admission strategies. Interprets academic policies and exercises authority and independent judgment on a case-by-case basis. Position requires individual to investigate complaints and questions and determine the best course of action for students and families.

 
Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, plus 3 years of university enrollment services experience working with prospects and applicants towards fulfillment of admissions and recruitment goals. Master’s degree from an accredited institution strongly preferred.

In depth knowledge of IUPUI, Indiana and federal guidelines pertaining to higher education highly desired. Excellent oral and written guidelines pertaining to higher education highly desired. Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated group presentation skills required. Ability to work independently, creatively and responsibly while using discretion and independent judgment is critical.

Prefer experience with Talisma CRM, version 8.5; Indiana University COMPASS Scholarship system; IU Student Information System (PeopleSoft-based).
