8230 - Medicaid Research Coordinator

The IU School of Medicine and Children’s Health Services Research is seeking a coordinator for the Indiana Medicaid Medical Advisory Cabinet (MMAC). This position will serve as the primary contact between MMAC and the Indiana Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning. This position will be responsible for developing project work plans and assisting in their execution, coordinating MMAC personnel and communication, leading meetings, conducting basic data analysis, composing/editing written scientific reports, and presenting research findings at meetings. The primary focus of the work involves assisting Indiana Medicaid with program design and evaluation, especially for high-risk populations.

Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in health related and/or policy-related field. At least 2 years of experience in research project management/coordination. Experience with scholarly literature searching/reviewing, scientific report composition/editing, statistical analysis, and knowledge of health policy design and evaluation.

Preferred: Master's degree in a health-related and/or policy related field. Knowledge of Indiana Medicaid .
