8082 - Senior Administrative Secretary
|This position will provide administrative and clerical support to the Master of Physician Assistant’s Clinical Coordinator as well as the staff, faculty and students of the MPAS program. |
Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Assist the Clinical Coordinators with management of clinical rotation sites. • Provide support to program Administrative Assistant and Faculty as needed to include: answering telephone inquiries, assisting visitors/vendors, distribute syllabi, exams, handouts, aid with copying, faxing, and filing. • Assist Administrative Assistant with organizing and coordinating program events. Maintain program’s social networking and other public relations tasks assigned by supervisor. • Other duties as assigned and incidental to the job.
To be successful in this position, the candidate should have expereince with Microsoft Office Suite 2010 and 2007, Windows XP, Vista, and 7, Internet and social networking abilities. Have the ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions. Pleasant customer service demeanor is very important. Comfort with copy and fax machines, among other office and classroom equipment.
|Required: High School diploma required plus 1 year experience depending on level and nature of education and skill set, with a strong emphasis on customer service and supporting a collaborative environment, some college preferred. |
