7752 - Financial Analyst, VP of Research Administration


The Office of Research Administration is seeking a highly motivated individual to prepare and submit financial reports to external sponsoring agencies for all sponsored projects on all campuses. The incumbent reviews sponsored project awards for required reports, agency- or program-specific guidelines or allowable/allocable expenditures, and reporting timelines; maintains, monitors and updates reporting schedules to ensure reports are submitted in a timely manner. The position analyzes grant expenditures for allowability, allocability and reasonableness when submitting financial reports and invoices to agencies. The position coordinates with faculty members, departments and other ORA staff to ensure agency and university guidelines are followed and expenditures are appropriate for the associated account(s). The position has signature authority for all financial related reports. This position is funded for one year.

 
High school diploma or GED required. Experience with Excel and Word required. Experience working in an office environment is a plus. Experience in accounting or financial related experience with emphasis on analytical responsibilities preferred. Must be familiar with computer applications. Must have excellent oral, written and analytical skills.
