11370 - Assistant Director Web and Digital Media
|The Assistant Director of Web & Digital media is responsible for managing the full web-based operations for all programs in the School of Science as well as contact databases and customer relationship management (CRM) systems used for recruitment and marketing. |
This position oversees the School website and content management system; provides leadership, defines and refines processes, and oversees developers and media production personnel charged with producing web sites, web content, and digital media for the School; ensures that web projects achieve School communication and marketing goals, are technically sound, completed on time, and meet client needs and expectations; and develops and implements documentation and training on new web applications for faculty and staff. This position is also responsible for needs assessment, analysis of system designs, information architecture, graphical user interface designs, usability testing, and evaluative controls of website statistics. This position works collaboratively with the School’s IT team to facilitate web and database server administration.
To be successful candidates should have direct experience in project management and strong knowledge of site design and usability principles, issues and techniques. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
|Required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, plus at least 4-5 years’ experience in web and digital media development. |
