10444 - Associate Director, IPE, Public and Environmental Affairs
|Job Summary: Supports the Director of Indiana University Bloomington’s Integrated Program in the Environment (IPE) in all aspects of program delivery: interactions with external constituencies, including administration, faculty, staff, current and prospective students, and the community; strategic planning and programming; Indiana University Research and Teaching Preserve (IURTP) operations and management in close collaboration with the Science Director of IURTP. Directs and manages on- and off-campus programming and communications, including development of marketing programs and materials, website design and content management and event planning and implementation. Responsible for oversight of IPE and IURTP staff, student employees, interns and volunteers. |

REQUIRED: Master’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, environmental policy, natural resources management, sustainability, ecology, or related field and two years of experience in program management within a college, university, nonprofit, government or private-sector organization in a related field such as academic research, administration, sustainability planning, environmental or resource management, communications or marketing, with relevant leadership responsibility.
Preferred: Four or more years of experience in one or more of the above areas.
