10015 - Training Supervisor

Will provide leadership, initial and on-going development, and supervision to a team of training specialists. This includes but is not limited to the hiring process, providing direct supervision, assessing and offering feedback on performance, training and development, as well as administering discipline and providing advocacy when necessary. A key function of this position is training. It is responsible for providing initial and on-going training to direct reports as well as staff within the Indiana Department of Child Services. This position works collaboratively with the training partnership executive management team and is expected to assist in the development of departmental policies and protocols as well as ensure they are implemented and followed. The position is expected to assist with the development and implementation of curricula and is integral in its functions and helps to achieve organizational and departmental goals. |Required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Education or related field, plus at least 3 years of teaching/training experience. Must have experience working directly in the child welfare discipline and prefer direct experience working for the IN Department of Child Services. Knowledge of general computer and training equipment required (i.e. computer, LCD, chart stands, Microsoft and other software products, etc.). Must be at least 18 years and have a valid driver's license in the state of IN. |
Preferred: Master's degree from an accedited institution.
